ORS invites all UTAS researchers, research students and research support staff to a workshop on the power of bibliometrics to measure the impact of research and raise one's research profile.Presented by an experienced bibliometrician, Dr Amberyn Thomas, Manager, Scholarly Publications with the University of Queensland, this workshop will provide an important insight into the increasing emphasis on the measurable impact of research and provide you with the tools to access and exploit your bibliometric profile.
Tuesday February 7 Charles Dickens’ Birthday Celebrations; come and enjoy a drink and piece of cake to celebrate Charles Dickens’ 205th birthday around his statue.
The activity aligns with, and supports Australia’s economic diplomacy and public diplomacy objectives by addressing current and emerging development and foreign affairs issues.
The purpose of this project is to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in these schools and, through the schools’ graduates, positively contribute to sustained prosperity and social cohesion in the surrounding communities.
