DEVICE MANAGER UPDATES: In device manager, right click the device and select update, try the internet and then try choosing from installed drivers.
Also, use the Unknown Devices app from Halfdone Development to identify any hardware (usually) that has a question mark.
If you have any problems open a thread in the drivers sub-forum or PM me.
v2.0 Nice tutorial, thanks Frostmourne :) It's maybe worth mentioning that instead of using HWinfo32, using Device manager can yield very similar results without using a 3rd party app??? 1 rep :) System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Touchsmart IQ771OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-56 Motherboard ASUS Pheonix Memory 3GB Nanya PC2-6400 DDR2-SDRAM SO-DIM (400MHz) Graphics Card NVIDIA Ge Force Go 7600 256MB GDDR3 SDRAM Sound Card High Definition Intergrated NVIDIA MCP51 Monitor(s) Displays 46" Sony Bravia HDTV Screen Resolution 1600x1200 Hard Drives 1.5TB Samsug 320GB Seagate ST3320820AS - SATA 3Gb/s 8MB 500GB Maxtor Basics STM305003EHD301-RK Internet Speed ↓6.32 Mb/s ↑0.35 Mb/s ↔26ms Other Info BIOS - American Megatrends Inc.

They spent a fortune sponsoring WHQL partnership with all manufacturers to build Win7 drivers, leveraging their support to get manufacturers not to hold out as they did in Vista and to get them done on deadline.
If you have ATI run the new installer, uninstall the old drivers, reboot, and then use Driver Sweeper.
Reboot into 7 again and then re-run the Catalyst installer, this time choosing to install the new driver.
