Right out in the open, living and breathing it, while no one else is the wiser.
Then there are others, who simply do not care what society at large thinks, and they are very open about their lifestyle choices.
After a string of reviews ripping this place for their bad service, I was fully prepared to be disappointed. Not only were my date and I taken care of from the very beginning, but the manager visited our table to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I got the veal, which comes lightly fried and on top of some greens and polenta So I've been to the new location 4 times now. My waiter was on top of everything, and when he wasn't he apologized. My husband and a friend of ours ordered a cocktail each, both of them thought it was well made.Definitely cool to check out if for nothing more than the experience. Our waiter recommended the Lobster Ravioli and it was on point. I would absolutely recommend this place for a special occasion or fancy night out.The prices are a little high and parking can sometimes be a pain- but hey, you're in downtown Birmingham, what do you expect? So after reading the 220 restaurant reviews I was uncertain about going but I am glad I did the food was great and the new design is AWESOME. We were seated at the window which gave us a view of busy Birmingham. My husband wanted something that was off the menu (grilled cheese I believe) which they were happy to make for him (you'd be surprised how much of a problem cheese and bread seems to be for some places). The ravioli are different than you might expect as they are crispy - but I had read ahead and knew this. I started with the Squash Ribbon Salad with Pine Nuts which was perfectly cooked and dressed with a vinaigrette that had just the right amount of acidity.Great Job to who ever made this happen a much needed face lift. We got the sliders () very tasty, and the flat bread, tomato and basil. I'm so thrilled it has been revamped because it needed it desperately, and the chef apparently has been working in an upscale Vegas restaurant alongside a James Beard award winning chef, that's exciting to know. My husband had the Shrimp and Bay Scallops Potstickers and they were delicious. This couldn't be further from the truth, and is an unfortunate point of view fostered by fear and ignorance.Paring it down, BDSM comes in two forms - the variety for lifestyle appreciators, and those who prefer the kink or fetish aspect of it. In lifestyle BDSM, two people agree to consensually bring the Dominant/submissive (D/s) dynamic into their relationship on a permanent basis. My fiancé and I came here for our anniversary date and had a great experience. We even got a few extras, champagne, appetizer and even take home desserts for the next day!But with a firm yet loving hand, a skilled Dom/me can work to bring the shy submissive out of their shell, and to thrive. The three of us walked in around 8pm with no reservation, the wait was less than 10min thanks to the amazing waiter! In the end, delicious dishes, exceptional waitstaff. We had reservations at 730 and were promptly seated by 735.
